Follow-up Comment #7, bug #41067 (project octave):

any suggestion on how to debug this?   my system has the full set of
dependencies currently.  i probably have to remove packages until it fails.

would it be sufficient to uninstall packages & re-run octave, or do i have to
do the configure & make stage after uninstalling each package?
