Seems I beat you to it :-), changeset attached.
All tests pass, including the ones you added. I've edited my revised help text
a little more and swapped it in.

I added your name + email address in the patch header; it is mostly your work
not so much mine. Only in the log on the hg repo your name will be shown, I'll
see that your name won't appear in the contributors list (yet?). Would you
agree to this?
