Follow-up Comment #2, bug #39307 (project octave):

I was on cc1657be1ee7. I've now updated to 286904321282 and built from scratch
and I get the same error again. I've been seeing this error for a couple of
weeks, but I can't say whether it's due to a change in Octave or the recent
change in Debian from texinfo 4.13 to 5.1.
