[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #36408] inverted axes with long right justified legends

Follow-up Comment #11, bug #36408 (project octave):

The "outerposition" property of the parent axes is being modified on the c++
side (its not modified at all in legend.m) ... Perhaps we should be setting
the "position" property (we are) *and* a the "tightinset" (which we are not).

My free time has become sporadic, so I thought it best to add this note so I
don't for get about it.  I expect some free time over the weekend.  I'll take
a look then.
