Follow-up Comment #10, bug #39003 (project octave):
Not that it makes any difference to the issues that were seen, but I was
running it in a fedora core 18 live install to a VirtualBox VM, with the only
additional installed packages being the ones called out in the mxe build
requirements.
I think there are a few other dependancies still missing. I'll let you know if
I find them.
