Follow-up Comment #24, bug #38564 (project octave):

I guessed that i-octave-3.2 was local to your system.

I am not sure about the context in which I got
llvm-3.2 to sucessfully link and run.  I think that
llvm-static was installed, but I also think that I
caused /usr/lib64/llvm/ to be in the path, and that
it did a dynamic link.  Unfortunately, I deleted
the test files, so I cannot check what really happened.
Sorry.

In any case, it seems to me that if the linking
structure as it was for 3.1 were left in place it
should work for 3.2.  When I looked at it a while
ago I did not see any change in this area.

Have you tried this?
