Details:

The following steps cause octave to hang on my Mint Linux 14 machine:

1.

>> edit roots.m


2. 
Click to add breakpoint in editor

You then get the dialog asking whether to change dir, add to path or cancel.
Octave hangs, the following is displayed on the command line:

>> Object::connect: No such slot QUIWidgetCreator::dialog_finished (int) in
../../libgui/src/dialog.cc:458

Octave must be killed to quit.

This is using classdef branch, hg id -i returns: 2ed5bc680c71
