Details:

An old problem has resurfaced with the MXE builds:

Undocked panes (e.g., editor) always appear on top of the GUI window, even if
the focus is on the GUI and not on that pane
(e.g., I can type commands in the docked terminal while the undocked editor
pane partly overlies that terminal window.)
