Details:

I recently installed Octave 3.6.2 Windows MingW installer on windows7. I
extracted the core files using 7 zip as mentioned and modified the properties
of the file to point to shortcut. But whne i double click it to launch, it
gives segmentation error.

I even tried launching octave.exe from the <install>/bin/octave.exe. My
installation path is not having any spaces. I am a newbie to octave, Can some
one please help me to make it work.
