Follow-up Comment #14, bug #37308 (project octave): Valgrind command used: driver="valgrind --smc-check=all --tool=memcheck --track-origins=yes --fullpath-after=/octave/" make check >valgrind.smc.detailed.out 2>&1 Output attached. As an addendum to my previous comment, I'm running 32-bit Ubuntu Precise on an x86_64 processor, and the default kernel is the PAE kernel, which allows access beyond the 3.2GB limit.
