Details:

When GUI starts maximized, the sizes of the dock-widgets are not correctly
restored during startup (running on ubuntu 12.04 32 bit). 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Un-maximize the GUI (if necessary) and restart
2. Maximize the GUI 
3. Enlarge other widgets such that console is at min width
4. Exit and restart the GUI
=> widgets don't have the same size compared to step 3 (console has larger
width)

The attached patch saves and restores the geometry of all dock-widgets and
solves the problem for me.
