Follow-up Comment #1, bug #37050 (project octave):
The failing compile on Fedora 16 is due to
llvm-2.9-10.fc16.x86_64
Compiling on fc17 using
llvm-3.0-13.fc17.x86_64
works correctly.
This indicates that attention needs to be
given to which levels of llvm are supported.
The test for llvm should fail if the version
of llvm which is found is not capable of
generating a working jit system.
