Update of bug #36576 (project octave):

                Category:   Plotting with gnuplot => Plotting               
                  Status:                    None => Confirmed              
                 Summary: invalid graphics object => "invalid graphics object"
leads to segfault

Follow-up Comment #2:

I can confirm this on a recent development tip (6/3/12).  The crash occurs
with the second invocation of colorbar and occurs with either gnuplot or the
FLTK backend. 

I have updated the Category to "plotting" since it affects both graphics
toolkits -- not just gnuplot.
