Follow-up Comment #1, bug #34761 (project octave):
Correction: In 3.4.3 th doc string does not explain what the return value is,
I accidentially looked at an old version and saw that to late
Beside that the doc string should say what the function returns (the current
behavior of imagesc seems to be ML compatible).
