Follow-up Comment #3, bug #34573 (project octave):
It's a lot of trouble to build Octave and all its dependencies on Windows
systems. Most of the problem is actually building the dependencies.
Octave doesn't include dependencies with its source because they are separate
packages. Should we also include the compiler, and the rest of the operating
system? They are also dependencies required for compiling.
Since it is a lot of work to build Octave on Windows, would you pay for a
binary installer if one were available? If so, how much would you consider a
reasonable charge to save you the hassle of having to do it yourself?
