URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?33204> Summary: .tex file generated with print('-depslatex') lacks $ for tex fomulas Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: chili Submitted on: Mon 02 May 2011 01:01:02 PM GMT Category: Plotting with gnuplot Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.4.0 Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: How to reproduce: Export a plot whith numbers larger than 100 using: print('-depslatex') Look at the .tex file: The code for the ticks partly looks like this:{\strut{}10^{1}}}% Latex wont accept this since the $ for the formula is missing. You should get something like this: {\strut{}$10^{1}$}}% Apparently when you use call instead of load gnuplot will ommit all $ in the latex export. This could be tha cause. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?33204> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
