Follow-up Comment #18, bug #30478 (project octave):

Following comment #13 the output of
gdb -nx /usr/local/bin/octave core -ex 'thread apply all bt full' -ex 'info
thread' -ex 'info shared' -ex q  > backtrace
on the core mentionned in comment #10
has been attached

libgoto2.so was the first lib appearing after the crash.

Compiling with unoptimized blas and lapack libs provided with 
OpenSUSE 11.3 yields no crash.

Compiling with ATLAS 3.9.25 yields no crash also.

And the fork problem mentioned in comment #17 disappeared also. Nice.

A new octave compilation with libgoto2 brought the crash back.

So surely there was a mistake in my compilation of libgoto2 (1.13). 

As for comment #14, the download works here, so I'll try to find
another storage place, if you still want the files ?
