It looks that MSIE draws huge whitespace around <form></form> pair. This
causes problems in a tight table. The table is too high (because <form> is
impossibly high), and align=bottom is not respected by MSIE.
Yes...
We use a customized changeLanguageForm method for this reason and in order
to put style classes in the form. The only way to avoid <form> to put extra
space is putting it out of a table (yes, I know it isn't valid html...)
<tr>
<td...>
.....
</td>
<form ....>
<td>
<select ....>
</select>
</td>
</form>
</tr>
For example:
<form name="idioma" action="<dtml-var
"Localizer.absolute_url()">/changeLanguage" method="post">
<td align="right" class="Menua" bgcolor="#C3D4E5"><dtml-var
"gettext('Select your language:')">
<select name="lang" onchange="idioma.submit()" class="Menua">
<dtml-in "Localizer.get_languages_map()" mapping>
<option value="<dtml-var id>"<dtml-if selected>
selected</dtml-if>><dtml-var "gettext(title, id)"></option>
</dtml-in>
</select>
</td>
</form>
This works with the last version of Localizer.
