Looks like nufw is not managing to open a connection to nuauth. Are they
running on the same server? If so, is traffic on the loopback interface
allowed?

If all is fine, when running "netstat -pant|grep ESTAB" on the box running
nufw, you should see a TCP connection in state "ESTABLISHED".
