I hadn't noticed that before with NMH ML postings (though, very
few of them are directly addressed to me as well as the ML).
Most likely because there hadn't been such a huge delay in
delivery previously.

(Andy's email reached the GMail servers without any real delay.)

Is it really GMail that's doing this? Or is it the list server,
seeing that one of the list's email addresses is in the header,
deciding not to send a (duplicate) copy to it? I can't imagine
Google deciding that it's a good idea to look for "duplicates"
and discarding or hiding them (in a way that I cannot see).

Sorry, I was unclear.

I'm okay with only receiving the copy routed directly to me
(rather than via the ML). My concern is that my copy took 33
hours to reach me. (One consequence of that delay was that I
saw others' replies to the copy that was sent via the ML. In
other words, I saw replies to a mailing list posting that, until
yesterday, I'd never seen.)
