[Nmh-workers] format memory changes pushed to master

Greetings all,

I just merged the format-memory-rework branch onto the master branch.
For those of you who don't read the nmh-commits mailing list, this branch
contains the rototilling of the mh-format code's memory management.

This should not result in any user-visible changes, but if you track
the master branch and you notice that stuff has changed or things
are starting to dump core, please let me (or the list) know.
