The biggest thing that I'd like to do is rewrite m_getfld() because there are
some features that I'd like to add but understanding this code is beyond me.
It has lots of comments that describe its history, but none that describe what
it does. I'm afraid of breaking things by messing with it. Does anybody know
what it does in detail?
