[Nano-devel] RFC: should an undo unset the mark?

When you undo things while the mark is set, this can be distracting
-- highlighting then this, then that. Especially when the line that
contained the mark has been deleted by an undo, the highlighting is
surprising and confusing. I've been toying a bit with this, getting
nano to highlight seemingly random lines, before it occurred to me
to try and cut the marked region. Segmentation fault. [1]

So, to prevent that segfault, it seems that nano should unset the
mark whenever an undo or redo is executed. Or should nano instead
try and keep the mark set in the same relative spot -- same line
number and x position? What do you say?
