also, with the c-file, this might be useful to match gcc builtins:
color cyan "__attribute__[[:space:]]*\(\([^)]*\)\)" "__(asm|builtin|inline|
restrict|typeof)__"
i wouldnt suggest this for inclusion since i'm sure there's a better way, but
i use this locally and others may find it useful:
color brightwhite "[a-zA-Z_0-9]+[[:space:]]*\("
if you add it as the first rule of c-file, all functions will be a bit
brighter (it matches too much, but it's good enough for me :])
