Here is a patch for nanorc.5, along the same idea. I removed the
synopsis part (no other file format man page I found had a synopsis
part, and the description in the man.7 man page suggests that this part
is only appropriate for command and function call descriptions). To
compensate, I added a files section, as well as some complementary text
in the description part.
I also have a question. The nano.1 page refers to the initialization
files as :
$SYSCONFDIR/nanorc
~/.nanorc
The nanorc.5 file refers to the same files as :
/etc/nanorc
$HOME/.nanorc
It might be worthwhile to try to use something similar in both man pages :)
