nanomiscbugs2.patch:
* merged a fix for an int/long mismatch discovered by DB
and fixed in his patch; my fix is not the same as his,
though; instead of keeping lineswritten a long and
updating the printf() to display it as a long as he has,
I've made lineswritten an int in accordance with lineno's
being an int

All my patches have also been sync'ed with the latest CVS.
