Arrrgh! nano ver. 1.1.12 is useless! I doesn't interpret character "ę"
(hex EA) i.e. Polish "tailed e" pronounced exactly like French "in"
(chagrin, Gabin...). Instead it prints "^*". It happens either when I
type a combination of keys that normally produces "ę" or when I read in
a file with Polish text containing that character. Here's a sample:
Pragn^* Panu podzi^*kować. (should be: Pragnę Panu podziękować)
