I'll look into it.  If you look in Makefile.am in the top directory,
you can find this:

        bin_SCRIPTS = mtnopt

and this:

        # Support for scripts
        %: util/%
                cp $< $@

Famous words, I know, but it worked for me...  What am I missing?
