Does this actually work?
I just tried:
mkdir manual-merge
cd manual-merge/
mtn -d test.mtn db init
mtn -d test.mtn setup -b test .
head -c 16 /dev/zero > zeros
mtn add zeros
mtn ci . zeros -m "zeros"
mtn attr get zeros
-> No attributes for 'zeros'
It does set it for a file with a .png extension.
