Provided that it inferred the bit before the * from the current
directory's branch, then it could work for me (that's what the script
I sent along does).  If it's trying to infer it for all of the
projects that I and my co-workers work on, it would end up being mtn
sync server.com "*", which would be the wrong answer as well since
that would pick up all sorts of branches that most people don't want.
