I plan on doing it eventually, but there are other problems that need
to be fixed first. Like getting this branch merged into the main, but
also in Emacs DVC.

I noticed you commented out a couple tests that are failing; I added
`fail_check_inventory' (in tests/test_utils_inventory.lua) for that
purpose; it's a little cleaner.

Looking at other tests, it seems tests/test_utils_inventory.lua should
be tests/common/test_utils_inventory.lua; should I move it?

Both automate_inventory and automate_invenory_path are failing for me
with this revision; I'm working on it. More later.
