I think you can do this with BLOBs.
| BLOB literals are string literals containing hexadecimal data and
| preceded by a single "x" or "X" character. For example:

Unfortunately, the sqlite3 command line client does not seem to be
able to output BLOB fields in a readable way. But this could probably
be fixed upstream.
