OK, I tried syncing the server's database against venge.net, and that
worked fine. But I still can't sync the client against the server.
Here's the '--debug' output of the failure:

monotone: db.fetch("SELECT keydata FROM private_keys where id =
'address@hidden'")
monotone: lua isfunction() failed in get_fn
monotone: base64-decoding 856-byte private key
monotone: running arc4 process on 633 bytes of data
monotone: building signer from 633-byte decrypted private key
monotone: produced 128-byte signature
monotone: wrote 218 bytes to fd 1928 (peer redacted.com:5254), 0 remain
in output buffer
monotone: read from fd 1928 (peer redacted.com:5254) failed, disconnecti
ng
monotone: [bytes in: 217] [bytes out: 218] [revs in: 0] [revs out: 0]
monotone: db.execute("COMMIT")

Cheers,
Eric
