I'm evaluating monotone for personal use, and I have a few questions concerning compilation on the Win32 platform (XP and possibly 98): 1. What tools were used to create the Windows XP executable linked on the homepage?
I use MinGW / MSYS. not sure if the build works on 98, I only have XP here. if you could report results, I'd appreciate it.
someday I hope to extend the build to support vc7 or watcom since they are gratis now. perhaps it'll require shifting to scons. that's plausible, I just haven't had the available energy yet.
Thanks for any feedback. I will attempt to hold out for the release of 0.16 sources.
I'm doing the windows build of 0.16 tonight. it'll be ready in the next few days, assuming new years isn't a complete bender :)
