Good news: Monotone compiles on Solaris!! At least with the snapshot you offered. Unfortunately, the --enable-static-boost argument didn't seem to work... but I neglected to copy down the error, and it seemed to work fine without it.

Anyway, I'm working through trying it out, and so far initialising and key generation works...

it's missing INADDR_NONE for which I added a configure test, but that
was
post-0.8 - some other solaris build problems in monotone were fixed,
too..

I've built a recent snapshot that you can get at
