ChangeLog: 

* Corrected all occurrances of stack based processing with a set of
  revisions which have already been processed. This reduces the need
  for one find() call and is more accurate. (Seems to resolve a
  deadlock, though I'm still puzzled how that was possible).
* Optimized the split_by_path() functor to return as soon as it reaches
  a decision (instead of processing all remaining blobs, even if it
  knowns the result).
