Hi,
I'm not a monit expert but I did something similiar,
because I needed extra information inside my alert-mails
monit was not able to collect.
I wrote a bash script, that uses terminal power to collect my data
and send me a mail.
Maybe you can do something similiar by creating a logfile and
if a threshold is reached (by logs line count or by critical error...)
you send this mail to yourself.
