Good question. This may be caused by the high load, but it should be
investigated. The new event model added to monit 4.3 beta, may also
handle this better.


4.3 beta could probably solve some mentioned issues:

1.) there was possible deadlock in old event engine related to program starting, it was solved in 4.3.

2.) the event scheme was changed - it is possible that the output of new event engine can help to explain some event related problems.


You can get the 4.3-beta from (http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/beta/).

Please run monit with '-v' switch (debug mode) and let us know the testing result. In the case that problems will remain, it can help also if you can attach some debug output.
