They seem to be cleaning up their operation, hopefully the result is stable.
The changes affect several lines on the freetds.mk file:
$(PKG)_VERSION := 0.91RC2
$(PKG)_CHECKSUM := 7dbde5c9712cf8e267a1c105792d738825d34a11
$(PKG)_SUBDIR := $(PKG)-$($(PKG)_VERSION)
$(PKG)_FILE := freetds-$($(PKG)_VERSION).tar.bz2
$(PKG)_WEBSITE := http://www.$(PKG).org/
$(PKG)_URL :=
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ALPHA/$(PKG)/stable/release_candidates/$($(PKG)_FILE)
I didn't check the line after that, the Debian repository.
Unfortunately, the freetds URL situation is still unstable and
unpredictable. The "91rc" package under "stable" appears to be the most
recent "freetds-0.91.dev.20110508RC2". Here are the listings from today:

I've updated the repo again for this:

Do you see a way to find a stable reference to the freetds release
candidates? As you might have noticed, this is the only issue holding
up our next release.
Currently, I only see two possibilities:
a) using their old release and a big patch (as we did before)
b) waiting for their next release
Both options aren't really satisfactory. Do you see a better way
to handle this issue?
I was hoping that this situation would solve itself with a final release
of freetds 0.91. I don't know if it's a question of days or weeks.
Possibility a) might be the lesser of two evils, but the patch is
comparable in size to the sources themselves. Here are 2 more
unsatisfactory possibilities:
c) Add the last 0.91 RC version to the mingw-cross-env repo.
d) Host 0.91 RC somewhere with a stable URL.
The file would be renamed to something like:
freetds-0.91.dev.20110508RC2.tar.gz
Which do you see as the least unsatisfactory?
