I wonder what "error in the packaging process" was.  Withdrawing a beta 
release seems like a pretty extraordinary step.

Stay tuned here for an update when the next beta comes out. In the 
meantime you could try a websearch for "mirror 
qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.7.0-beta1".
