For now, we don't have the infrastructure to translate the map output.
But we do welcome translations for the website!
You can get the .po file at
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/maposmatic.git/tree/www/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/django.po
to translate it to German.
We'll be very happy to integrate the German translation to the
MapOSMatic website.
