From Bangladesh.Pavel Sayekat2. I tried a bit different style (used unijoy.mim) to set the Jatiya layout than prabhart style, so far I have been able to make the alt key operation on keys work to input bengali letters but the "alt+shift+key" does not work, which is set like ((A-S) "ঊ") and I am sending the modified layout.mim.Thanks, I have two questions,1. The layout switching shortcut keys does not work no matter what key I set for ibus (sorry, may be offtopic for here).

Have a look at the Sinhala MIM files in m17n-db. e.g.
si-phonetic-dynamic.mim .
