^L often causes the current position to change, which may be bad
especially if someone accidentally changes the window size, or
several terminals attach to the same GNU screen session, etc.

The fix for this case (press ^L or change the size back, depending
on what you wanted) is easy and the user’s choice, and may just
need to be documented better.
