[Lynx-dev] Installing Lynx

Hi
I am trying to install Lynx to check some sites  (as advised in google
webmaster help) but i am completely confused as to how it is used. I have
tried to read the read me and installation files but they dont make sense to
me, is there not an installer for Lynx? or have i downloaded the wrong files
as i cannot find one.
