Yes, the ^W shows in the trace file. Changing the binding for ^W in
LYEditmap.c from LYE_NOP to anything else doesn't seem to work, but it
can be bound by a KEYMAP command in lynx.cfg. The other surrounding
keys can be bound in LYEditmap.c without any problem. I've grep'd for
"^W" and for "0x17" but don't see where this gets special treatment in
the lynx code. There is special treatment for ^W in pdcurses getstr.c,
in function wgetnstr. But if that is the problem, why does a KEYMAP
in lynx.cfg make it work, and why would the ^W still show in the lynx
trace log? I am still confused by this.
