sorry - different issue.  Checking, I think the issue is that you're seeing the
leading blanks with the background shown as though it was a single blank. 
But of course it's not.

That's something that I might be able to improve - so I'm saving a copy of the
page as a test-case.  I normally don't notice that since I usually run the
color-style with a default background.
