I commented out EXP_RAND_TEMPNAME, and the compile fails (NetBSD):

gcc  -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I../intl  -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/local/share/locale\"  -I.  
-I..  -Ichrtrans  -I./chrtrans  -I..  -I../src  -I../WWW/Library/Implementation 
 -I../intl  -O2 -c ./LYOptions.c

./LYOptions.c:3130: syntax error before `)'
