lynx-dev Lynx Compiler Error

I am down to errors in just three modules when compiling Lynx 2.8.3,
HTWAIS.C, HTVMS_WAISUI.C, AND HTVMS_WAISPROT.C. I know this because when I
comment these three modules out in LIBMAKE.COM, the BUILD.COM program runs
all the way through. The compiler errors I get are actually in the include
file HTVMS_WAISUI.H. It has a problem with the type any* that is being
used as a data type in this include file. The only include file that
HTVMS_WAISUI.H calls (other than itself) is HTUTILS.H. HTUTILS.H
conditionally calls many different system include files. I went into my
directory that contains system include files (stdio.h, stdlib.h, etc.)
called DSA0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.DECC$LIB.REFERENCE.DECC$RTLDEF] and searched for
a datatype called any. I did not find any. I am on an Alpha running
OPENVMS V6.2 - 1H3. Can anyone tell me the include file where this type
any should be found?
