you got the whole source file, which needs to be compiled:
that's not difficult, but you need a compiler in your computer
& a bit (not much) of programming experience.

your best course is probably to get a pre-compiled (binary) version
from  www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm ;
there's more information at  www.rahul.net/dkaufman .
if you still have problems, ask again at lynx-dev with full details.
