Just to weigh in a bit, but not regarding sticky terminology. It's very
frustrating to be writing in a text-area field and needing to backspace,
and suddenly find that you've ended up on a link where you hadn't wanted
to be.
Since it hasn't happened to me all the time, there's probably a variable
I'm not aware of, but I'd much prefer to stay in the text-area field where
I'm working, rather than being transported elsewhere for any reason,
unless I forcefully take an action to do it.
I do agree that the term "sticky" will be meaninngless to most users, too.
